Blacky
I would just like to know what is between ABV and PROOF. A simple answer would be good. Thanks heaps, cheers BLACKY.
PB2
ABV is "alcohol by volume". A 5.2%ABV beer has 5.2ml of alcohol in 100ml of beer. According to www.answers.com - Proof is a lesser used term (out of date really) for describing the alcoholic strength of a beverage. The proof of a beverage is two times the percentage alcohol. eg A spirit at 40 degrees proof is 20%ABV.
