G'day paul,

 

Just thought I would warn you in advance, went to the Quack yesterday and he told me to get off the turps, or at least cut back considerably, so I thought you had better tell your manufacturing dept. that they will probably notice the sale of Origional Bitter drop off somewhat over the next few months!!! :wink:

The doc is looking out for your best inerests. Although, it's the sort of advice I never want to hear from my doc!

 

 

 

What is a fair estimate Ross? Should we halve production or cut it back even more??

If I recall, you make a lower alcohol recipe at the moment using 750g of BE2??

 

 

 

If the doc's issue is your intake of alcohol, you could look at using 500g of Light Dry Malt instead of BE2 - this shouldn't compromise the flavour while reducing the alcohol level.

Jeez you are not bad mate, you must read every post that goes up!

 

Anyway, he hasn't said stop altogether so I might do one of those and see what it is like, at least the weather has cooled down so cutting back won't be quite as hard. I need to lose a few pounds as well and that is always harder in the winter. so a bit of a slow down will help there too!
