Kip
The recurring question a. head development gets better with some bottle age; I never open a new brew short of about ten weeks b. Are your REALLY sure your glasses are REALLY clean? c. chill your glasses, and as you start to pour, splash about 50 mls (guess it) into the bottom of the glass to make a little pile of foam and then pour gently through this. Hope this helps Kip

Wort
I find I get better head retention in long narrow glasses. Get more gas coming out of the beer.
