Anthony C
I would like to bulk prime a brew that will be ready in a few days, but I have read that I should have made the brew 1 litre less to account for the bulk prime sugar/water solution. Can I just rack the brew into the sugar, or do you 'need' to mix it first?
PB2
It needs to be in liquid form first. You don't need a litre of liquid - weigh out the sugar into a pyrex jug then add boiling water (from the kettle). It should dissolve easily with only 300ml total volume. SteveM33
You only need enough liquid to dissolve the sugar. I only use about 150-200ml which is plenty.
