wilfw Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 I'm sure I've seen this explained before on the forum but I can't seem to find it so I apologise beforehand for repetition...,but... The bitterness units quoted on the brew cans section of the web site give the bitterness units in the concentrated canned extract. I would like to know how to convert this to the equivalent bitterness of the final 23litre brew as the beer engine I have been using when formulating recipes predicts the bitterness of the final brew i.e 30 to 40ish for bitter beers.
