Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
Just wondering has anyone bought Aldi honey or supermarket honey and used it in their brews I quite like the Aldi honey for things like crumpets etc but the big question is how do I tell if it is pasteurized or not I have read up on pasteurizing honey so know whats involved but if it already has been done then I don't need to worry about foreign yeasts but I am considering as a safety precaution to pasteurize it in the last couple of minutes of my hop boile your thoughts and wisdom will be appreciated [biggrin]

Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
Thanks for that Gavin I pretty much read that over several different sites just wondering what peoples personal experience is also I noted that Coopers in their recipe section has strawberry blonde which is made with honey and they add the honey to the beginning of the brew there is a bit of conflicting information around however.
