MikeyBycrikey Posted March 30, 2012 Share Posted March 30, 2012 Howdy, just halfway through fermenting BillK's Fruitier Salad and realised the crystal grain used was uncracked. Thought it was cracked till I went to buy more and the nice lady offered to grind it for me. How much will this affect it, just a milder taste right? As to the effect of the taste it will not taste as the expected recipe. It will be similar but not the same as there will be no Caramel/Toffee flavor coming through.
