MLTZER
So i just started a new brew (my 2nd) Mexican Cerveza 500g LDM 500g Honey zest from 2 Lime and there seems to be a lot of sediment in the brew... as per instructions on the box i did first add the LDM to boiling water to dissolve it, and i was sure it was dissolved. Guest
It looks ok to me. That should all settle over the next hour or so. The only thing is your OG may not be accurate which is no big deal. How did you add the honey and lime?
MLTZER
yeah its already settled there just seems to be a lot of it i added the honey at the same time as the can goo, as with the can i also sat the honey in warm water. I only added the zest of the lime, i added it in at the same time. I didn't put it in a bag or anything.
Guest
hopefully you steralized the zest.... Tony suggested Starsan in another thread but I am guessing you probably don't have any yet so I hope you at least washed it?... Those floaties that are settling is only Cold Break. Check out the FAQs which explain it for you.
