Relief - Thought I'd stuffed up

Made a Coopers Draught in October, tin, 1kg Light Malt Extract and 500g Dextrose, 10 days in FV at 18 - 20'C. Tried it at one month and the missus said it tasted like soapy water (even after several LCPAs I tended to agree), I was worried it might be a cardboard flavour due to oxidation. Just sampled another two stubbies after 9 weeks in the bottle, it's the best Draught I've ever tasted (used to prefer Boags Draught or Cascade on tap). This was my fourth brew, since this one they all have had late hop additions and most of them have crystal malt. I was worried that I would have to skip this Draught brew and start drinking the others too early but now I'm happy as it is all going to plan.

good on u mate i have had the same thing happen to me used draught can and 500 grams each of dextrose and light malt extract tasted at day 5 in bottle way to early thought was shit came across it 3 months later and couldnt beleive it was amazing
