Alllmonde
Ok, here's the deal.. Am going away for a couple weeks over Chrissy/New Years and want to take 2 freshly brewed kegs with us.. Is it safe to gas them up at home, then pack'em in the car and take them with us? Only an hour 1/2 drive.
Guest
Yes it is ok. However, I wouldn't expect a clear beer as it will disturb the yeast. If you can chill them asap when you get to your destination would be advantageous.
Alllmonde
Cheers for that... I think we will be packing them in ICE as soon as we get there... Hopefully will be pouring our 1st beer before TEA of the Boxing day test [biggrin]
BenL8
i have a keg and regulary transportit for over 6 hours in the back of my car and the beer in them is fine after transport, as long as the kegs are gassed up, i just cool the kegs down in them before having a pint
