JimV2 Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I bottled a batch of wheat beer two weeks ago into 500ml bottles and used a carb drop each. I was not sure whether I should over or under carbonate due to the fact that 500ml doesn't work perfectly with this system. I opened one and it is quite flat. Is it too late to add another drop? Guest Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Jim, with a 500ml bottle 1 carb isn't enough. Personally I would have bulk primed or just measured out plain old sugar. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be adding 2 carb drops to 500ml either as this is too much and maybe susceptible to some bombs. How long has it been in the bottle for and at what temp?
