Keg pressure for Different types of beer

Hi everyone.

 

I'm just setting up my first kegging system. I'mm wondering if say a keg of Pale Ale and a keg of Pilsner would use the same CO2 pressure?

 

I have a dual pressue gauge but am interested to know recomended pressures for different beers.

Rather than me explain it is probably easier for you to check these links.

 

The amount of CO2 you use really is a personal touch. However, there is a difference in pressures between different styles. i.e. a Stout has low pressure whilst an Aussie Lager is much higher. The chart provided will give you an indication of the differences.
