Tythataussieguy
Hey Brewers, I am just about to put an Eu Lager and a coopers draught down tonight. I would like a little higher alcohol content and would like to put some plain white sugar in....how much should I add to the brew when using normal BE2 for the EU Lager and normal Sugar for the Draught? Also I am mixing the Eu Lager to 21 ltrs and the Draught to 22 Ltrs Thanks Ty
Muddy Waters
I'd avoid the white sugar and just reduce the volume - which depending on your recipe you may have already done (need more info). Just how much extra alcohol do you want?
Tythataussieguy
Thanks Muddy. Good advice But I figured I better play it safe with the first Draught and Eu lager Brews I have ever done [happy] I don't want to get to far ahead of myself just yet[rightful]
Guest
Don't forget the Draught and Euro Lager should be brewed at different temps. [rightful]
Muddy Waters
The safe option is to drop the white sugar - it goes well in tea or coffee [biggrin]
