DavidP17 Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 Im about to brew my first pale ale and im just chasing some advice on if the ingredients i have will do it justice, im using a 1.5kg can of Black Rock East India Pale Ale i got as a gift, Iv got 2 x 5g packets of Brigalow Brewing yeast im just wondering how much i should use iv got some accurate digital scales if i need to weigh it out. Iv got a pack that contains 500g Dextrose, 250g Maltodextrin and 250g Light Malt Im goner add in some hops iv got a pack of Morgans cascade finishing hops Im thinkin bout brewing it at around 21 degrees ? Muddy Waters Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 No coopers ingredients [innocent] I'd prefer to half the dextrose and quadruple the LDM and drop the maltodextrin myself.
