Stewie Rivers Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I am hoping someone can advise what hop is used in the OS Draught. I am interested because this beer holds a very good head so I assume the hops have a high Alpha%.

Biermoasta Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I remember PB2 saying that all of the Coopers kits are hopped with Pride of Ringwood for bitterness. The original series cans only have a bittering hop addition, meaning that the only hops used for the OS Draught are POR. [joyful]
LeonardC2 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Well,since they say the bier has a bitterness to it,maybe 1-2oz of spicy Saaz? I like the flavor of Saaz myself. But the Herbal/lemon grass qualities of Kent Golding with the Saaze to back it up might be nice as well.
