RobH1 Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 ]Rather than physically applying crown seals on the filled bottles with a hand capper that I made 28 years ago. I fitted my original capping bell to a pneumatic cylinder rod with a piston diameter of 75mm and fitted the cylinder to to a H frame that I manufactured. Using packer blocks to accommodate the different height bottles and an operating pressure of 310 kpa, with a foot pedal to actuate the cylinder - perfect sealing.[smile].
