Canadian Eh!L
was your lager yeast from the O.S lager kit? or was it from a pilsner, European lager kit? if it was the O.S. kit you're alright because it is an ale yeast. if it was a true lager yeast... well i wouldn't tip it out. maybe you're on to something, lagered stout?[cool]
JohnK8
Its the european lager kit. I'll cross my fingers then. How will the stout yeast go with the lager malt?
Matty A
Aslong as the temperature is kept in the correct range for that yeast it willvmake beer. Not sure what it will taste like as I haven't ever brewed a lager (very eager to try tho) and am not sure on the characteristics on the yeast. Although keep brewing it and let it sit for a couple of months and then try it. You might be onto a winner.
