weggl
Paul\u2019s statement that beer in the early stages is Exothermic, is not wrong. I made a brew last night pitched the Yeast at 21.5C, I left it on the bench knowing the temp was going to drop, which it did to about 16C. This morning it was running at 23.5, had to quickly move it to the ice chest with a block of ice, got the temp this afternoon to 21.2. I usually move them to the ice chest when I make them, but this time I relied on the overnight drop to control the exothermic reaction. That\u2019s a pretty big rise in temp (2C) with an external falling temperature. Weggl
