scottb12 Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 Hi everyone, I have in the fermenter an OS Stout and Dark Ale + 1kg Coopers brewing sugar + both yeast packets made to 23 litres. After 10 days the SG is 1014 and has been for 2 days so it looks like fermenting has finished. Is this FG what would be expected for this brew? Cheers. Muddy Waters Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 I'd expect 1012-1014 for a similar thing (never used brewing sugar though). If it's stable I't be safe to bottle. AnthonyR1525228508 Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 I've recently done two toucan brews - 2 x Stout and 1 Stout + 1 Dark Ale, each brew with 1kg dextrose added.
