Rob (Guinness Man)
Hello all, I'm going to try the recipe on the Coopers website for heritage Lager. http://www.coopers.com.au/the-brewers-guild/how-to-brew/lager/heritage-lager I notice it does not mention to add sugar or dextrose, only for the priming of bottles. Does this mean I don't need to add 1kg of sugar to the fermentation tank with the cans? Thanks in advance. Rob
AlexR
Hi Rob, the can of light malt extract takes its place. Alex
Matty A
The can of the Coopers Light Malt is the fermentable such as what Alex said. The light malt can is the same as the dry malt that you use for many recipes but is made in a liquid form. Dry malt is alot harder to handle and thats why they make the liquid malt.
