AlexR
I am planning on brewing a toucan and using the 2 packs of kit yeast. I realise that it will ferment and reach FG quicker, but will this affect other aspects of the fermentation process and come at the expense of flavour? Any thoughts/anecdotes on this topic appreciated. Cheers, Alex.
Matty A
If your doing a toucan brew you may need to toss the two sachets of yeast in. Depending on the gravity one sachet may not be enough yeast to ferment it out properly. As for taste, I don't think it would make a great deal of differance unless the yeast are from a differant variety (eg. using Coopers Commercial yeast vs using the yeast that comes with the kits).
