Biermoasta
I'm looking for opinions from someone who has tried the English Bitter both done to recipe (500g LDME) and to the recipe (Extra Smooth Bitter) in the How to Brew section. I have the ingredients to make either recipe already, so just wanting some opinions on which one (in your opinion) is best [cool]
Muddy Waters
I'm not really answering your question but am giving you a third option just to confuse things [devil] Last time I made an esb style I went with the following: 1 x Coopers English Bitter 1kg LDM 250g DEX 15g Fuggles Yeast S-04 21L Turned out excellent [love]
johng12
Hi there, i brewed the english bitter can with 1kg of Coopers LDM and no hops. I reckon out of the 104 brews ive done it was the best. Ive since tried it again and changed the recipe and it wasn't as good. So sometimes sticking closely to the recipe is the best thing, coopers know what they are doing. A pouring of my beer is viewable click the link below in my signature.
