zyx345
I'm considering trying the Coopers Hefeweizen recipe but using White Labs WLP300 liquid Hefeweizen yeast. I have the Coopers Fermenting Vessel model prior to the DIY one. Can anyone offer advice on the best way to hook up a blow off tube as I would think it would be necessary on a Hefe. Also found this image via Google Images (it is not my fermenter):
PB2
You won't need a blow-off tube. If you are concerned that the foam will attempt to escape, start the brew in the low 20's at around the 18 litre mark. Once the foam has collapsed back into the brew, top up to the desired volume with cool water. [biggrin]
