Korbo
I've noticed the R3426 yeast is used for the Aus Pale Ale, Mexican Cerveza and the Mr Beer extracts. Just wondering want the temperature range for this yeast is being a blend of the Coopers ale yeast and a lager strain. Will only the lager half of the yeast still ferment if if gets down below 16c or still ok at 12c?
Tone boy
I imagine only the lager yeast would be active below 15 degrees. You may need a couple or 3 packets if you’re planning on doing that though. The ale part would probably just be dormant, but might kick in when your storing the bottles at room temperature…not sure
