Biermoasta
Oh, by the way, have you been tasting the stout over the 4 months? If so, how would you say it has changed over that time?
johng12
Oh' date=' by the way, have you been tasting the stout over the 4 months? If so, how would you say it has changed over that time?[/quote'] I had been up until about 3 months, so i haven't had one for a month. The roasted flavors are more pronounced now. The head is holding much better, starting to resemble the coopers best extra just with less alcohol.
Matty A
Shame about the less alcohol [pouty] Although looks good. I cant wait till my stout has aged alot. I havent even tried one yet, been in the bottle 3 weeks. Thanks, Matt

Matty A
Aslong as it holds all of the taste it only means that you can drink more in the one sitting [happy]
johng12
yeah good point Matty, i was just thinking the irish stout is 4.2% Guinness, and Coppers Best Extra is 6.8% so i have a good range to work with. Oh for those that dont know im Irish by birth[lol] 3 weeks would be a nice tasting point!!!
