Stewie Rivers
Hi all.Happy new year. Iam making the above with 1 can Coopers Draught,500gm Dextrose,300gm LDME, 24gm Saaz hops. If I use 500gm LDME what difference can I expect?
PB2
The yeast with the kit will make an ale.[wink] Is the 500g LDM replacing the Dextrose or bumping up the LDM by 200g? Either way, it will be a good outcome. More body and more malt flavour. [biggrin]
Stewie Rivers
Thanks Paul. What yeast should I use to make a pilsener? I will just be increasing the LDME by 200gm. Just as an aside I am using good tank water through 5 micron filter up here. What effect will that have on my brews? I have made 12 brews of varying types now and all have been good drinking. As I have said before the wife loves HER brews.
