RichardM9
I have just started sampling my second brew of european lager and find, as with the first, that it does not have great head retention. Has anyone else had this problem or is this a feature of this brew. I have brewed two normal lagers and a cerveza that all had excellent froth initially and subsequent head retention. I should add that I used coopers brewing sugar for the first brew and enhancement #2 for the second. Beer tasted fine but I do prefer a good head on a beer. johng12
The European lager should be aged for 12 weeks i think from memory, how long has this brew been in the bottle? May have some bearing on the head holding properties if it hasn't been matured long enough.

JohnS12
Yeah same thing It will improve but next time think about using two cans of lager plus some corn syrup about 250Grms to 23 L.
