DennisM4
Hello i was just wondering have anyone of you tryed brewing in a damejeanne? If you dont have to much of those in australia its a huge glass bottle often used to brew in. I was just wondering if you had experience in that kind of bottle and how it worked out for you. PB2
I have them (the glass version) at work - have used them for fermenting wine (when we used to sell wine kits) and displaying a brew fermenting at field days, demonstrations, etc. Being glass, they will last forever, provided they are not dropped and smashed, and they can be sterilised in an autoclave [biggrin] They are a bugger to clean, they don't have much space for keeping the foam in and a syphon is required to get the beer out.
