I've tasted a couple of different brands of Rauchbier but just cannot find anything about them that appeals.

 

Anyway, perhaps you could try dosing a few bottles, at the filling stage, with varying amounts of liquid smoke?? That way, you won't ruin a whole batch [biggrin]

Ohyea rauchbier is great. We got a swedish beer here aswell called "carl oscars r\xf6kporter(smokeporter) and thats the 2 u can get ur hands on in the liquirstores here.

 

Yeah ofcourse why didnt i think of that. Ofcourse a couple of bottles first :D but i need to buy a new liquid smoke first, mine is almost out and i can imagine its full with bacteria. So ill try to find some tomorrow since im gonna bottle my irish stout in some days. I will make a couple of bottles of smokey irish stout =) and ill wait til the aging made em as good as they can get then ill crack one open. That way i see how liquid smoke works with aging aswell. I will come back with result =)
