Kearnage
Sam, The temperature to brew at depends on the yeast. If it is a lager yeast, 12 - 15 deg is probably good, if and Ale, 18 deg - to low 20's gives the best results. The original series lager that comes with the Coopers brew kit actualy has an Ale yeast and is best fermented around 20 deg if possible. Hope that helps Dan
PB2
Sam, welcome to the Brewers Guild! I moved your post to the appropriate room When we suggest a temperatue range in the instructions, such as 21C to 27C always go for the lower number.[biggrin]

Kearnage
No problem! PB2 is the expert, so follow his advice and FAQ's. There are a wide range of temperatures that you can successfully brew at, but higher temps may produce unpleasant flavours and lower temps run the risk of the brew stalling. If you brew an ale yeast in the low 20's you should be fine. Dan
