peterg10
Just want to throw it out there. Apart from specific recipes- when making coopers lets say larger. What is the general thoughts boil the wort then add to the fermenter or just mix the lot in the fermenter. What i have found is that not all the fermentable sugars desolve completely and there are some lumps. can this be an issue or should i just boil then add??????[alien]
The Brew Master
Hi Peterg10, I have simmered worts in the past but never boiled them. The last dozen or so brews I have done to the recipe & never had a problem. Cheers, Peter
PB2
Mix in the FV - any lumps will dissolve over the first hour or so and be mixed through with convection. [biggrin]
