Tythataussieguy
I have a Lager going (came with the brew kit)and my reading has been sitting at 10.21 for a few days now. I know this is really high for it but it doesnt seem to be dropping. sitting on about 17 degrees for those who are wondering.
Greg
That seems quite high. Did you use the brewing sugar that came with the kit? If so, that should ferment pretty well. Perhaps warm it up to 19-21 degrees and rock the fermenter a bit to rouse the yeast.
Tythataussieguy
It is now sitting in my room which is warm most days only thig is I looked into the fermenter through the lid and it doesn't look to foamy Now I am a little worried. I also poured a glass to take a look and see what was happening and it looked a little cloudy and there wasnt much bubbling going on.
Muddy Waters
TyB - What Greg suggested sounds spot on. [roll] I also poured a glass to take a look and see what was happening and it looked a little cloudy and there wasnt much bubbling going on. More importantly what did it taste like? By bubbling do you mean the airlock? Ignore it! It doesn't mean anything. From what you've said, the only thing that sounds off is the temperature it was at originally - not by too much but enough to maybe put the yeast too sleep before they'd cleaned up and done the dishes [biggrin] See how it goes after a few days at a slightly higher temp. If symptoms persist consult a doctor [rightful]
