JoeL1
Hi, I took advantage a recent offer and got myself the following from Coopers: Stout Wheat Beer Mexican Cerveza Aussie Pale Ale These came with 2 BKE1 and 2 BKE2 Now the Cerveza and APA both recommend BKE2 so by the powers of deduction I assume i'm supposed to use the BKE1 with the Wheat kit.Is this correct because it doesn't seem to fit the profile for the beer? Muddy Waters
According to the recipe HERE the Wheat kit was "Developed to be mixed with 500g Light Dry Malt and 300g Dextrose". Now the igredients of BE1 & BE2 are as follows: Brew Enhancer 1 - 60% Dextrose + 40% Maltodextrin Brew Enhancer 2 - 50% Dextrose + 25% Maltodextrin + 25% Light Dry Malt So, I can't say how it would turn out but I personally wouldn't be using BE1 with the wheat.
