toxsickcity
Hi everyone. First time Brewer.. I have Cooper's diy kit and everything went well and when bottled I messed up. Today learnt that my beer bottles caps are not fully tightened and air was allowed to escape I guess... The sugar pills were added at time of bottling.. so would it be wise to add more pills or would the sugar in the bottles continue to work? would like to know if there is any way to save or simply ignore what happened.. I am worried and want advice :(

BlackSands
A fair amount of the carbonation would have taken place in those first few days. However, two of those carbonation drops generally carbonate to quite a high level though so if you've lost a bit due to loose caps it may not be so bad, the beer may still be carb'd enough. I'd check the carbonation of a bottle in say another week. If it seems to pour with plenty of fizz after that relatively short conditioning time then you'll probably be OK. If it seems quite flat then adding more priming sugar to each bottle might be called for.
