talking beer lingo

hi all,

 

been looking at different websites about beer tasting and i buy" beer n brewer magazine" in which coopers own pb2 writes in!( take a bow paul.)

 

ok seroiusly,im trying to find a site that talks all the lingo but talks about beers i know.

 

i want to learn the lingo.

 

i found a site called "tastings".

 

i myself describe coopers pale ale as : strong but soft bitterness a little earthy'ish,fruity characters,grouse on a hot day, grouse on a cold day, makes ya burp if ya drink it too fast!

 

this site describes it as:

 

Very pale, golden color with a white rocky head. Subtle grainy nose. Toasted grain and fresh bread dominate palate. Medium-bodied, crisp, and clean with a faint hop impression. Atypical. (tasted on Feb-01-2005).

 

is this site worth learning from?

 

he has heaps of beers on there,and now ive given up smokin i can smell again.

 

is he a little eccentric or is what his saying worth picking up on???
