AndrewF111
I would like to use better yeast and hops with my first brew. I am aiming to have a really good quality beer. I am studying this forum and brewing crafts book. If I follow the instructions accurately and maintaining good temperatures then it should turn out good. Am I being too ambitious or naieve? PB2
I think it is worth making the beer kit up as per the manufacturer's instructions, if you have never made beer before. Then you can use this beer as a benchmark for future brews.
GaryF1
I agree. Do a kit, pretty much to the letter. Yes, it will turn out great, hopefully one of the best beers you've tasted. Then let the ideas flow, the 'what if I try this next time' type stuff. Happy brewing. Gaz
