acrowsa
Hi everyone, I purchased 2 cartons of the 1999 Extra Strong Vintage Ale - in 1999 - and the non opened cartons have been sitting in my garage ever since. The other day, one of my sons bottles of organic drink exploded due the heat and went over my cartons. I thought I might as well open a carton and see what it looks like and put 1 in the fridge. My expectations of the beer being off was confirmed from the sediment I could see in the bottles. (all my fault for cellaring etc. properly) Anyway I still put them in the fridge and on opening/pouring it looked horrible and didn't taste that good. As mentioned, my fault and the only thing they are worth is the .10 cents at the bottle recycler. If I had 'looked' after them for 15 years, do you think they would have been ok or gone off anyway. Thanks.
