KermitS1
I am in mid East about to try my first Coopers - a Czech Pilsner. The recipe I have ( kit of the month June ? ) shows 1KG LDM (plan to sub 1.5 LME) - - but earlier posts I read talk of adding dextrose - - Do I need to be adding sugars if I use the Light Malt extract ? also - I have about 500 G Saaz Hop pellets, plus several packets of hop 'buds', should I use more than the 25 g the recipe calls for ? thanks

KermitS1
thanks - think this should work as I now have a fridge to keep it cool (15 degree) while it ferments - bit surprised to read that fermenting temp makes big difference - am also distilling water, in hope that helps. StefanR
I have recently brewed (@13C) this great little recipe with 25g of Saaz leaf hops and even after 10 days in the bottle it's tasting great [biggrin]
