BrendanS8
G'day all, got a dry hopping question. I normally just chuck em in, but sometimes the siphon hose blocks a little or blocks completely (only happened once) or works fine. (I put most of my brews into kegs.) This time i tried wrapping them in a chux cloth and they were in there for three days before kegging. I only fermented this one for seven days. I tasted the FG sample and it wasn't as hoppy as i thought. I took out the hops in the cloth and smelt it and it smelt great, too great! Question is, should i have dry hopped for longer or does wrapping the hops in a cloth "restrict" the full flavour of the hops?? Cheers, Brendan.
