Your pitch is a little on the low side as far as temp goes but I think the extra 7g of yeast should take care of that easily. Canadian Eh!L Posted April 24, 2011 Author Share Posted April 24, 2011 hey all, i tried one of these smokey stouts last night. it's showing some real promise. the smoke flavour is a background note at the tail end of the profile. alot less pronounced than i would have thought. this is a good thing![cool] the smoke aroma is also only slight and pleasant.[joyful] hey slurtis, this is only a guess but i would say the liquid smoke is probably similar to bong water. of course it would be with hickory chips and not the usual stuff.[bandit] chad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
