LukeW3
G'day all. I have made a Pale Ale of around 7% kinda strong. I normally dont make them that strong, but well anyway....I have no excuse, just thought I would give it a go. All coopers ingredients, Pale Ale can B.E #2 , extra Dextrose and Light Dry Malt to bring that %age up. As an after thougth I figured that it may tase a bit too malty and kinda on the nose due to the alcohol content. I thought when I rack into the keg I might add some hops. Any suggestions of type of hopps, and amount?? Thanks in advance

LukeW3
Thanks for the Cascade tip. Do you mean dry hop in the keg or boil them and add liquid before racking? Cheers
Greg
personally i would dry hop, but it is up to individual preference. If you dry hop in the keg it might be a good idea to use a bag so you dont get hop pellets in your beer (i dont keg so i dont know whether this would be an issue. Or you could steep the hops with 150 - 200ml of boiling water for 10 mintues and then strain the hop tea into the keg.
