Gazz Posted May 12, 2005 Share Posted May 12, 2005 Could you tell me why Coopers insist on having the 1 Coopers Club function for Port Lincoln members at the Coffin Bay pub. It's allways on the Easter long weekend when everyone goes away holidaying. Coffin Bay has a population of about 4000 and Port Lincoln has 14500. Coffins is aprox 45kms from Lincoln and after a good day drinking its a pain to try and get home. Could we have it one night in Lincoln like we used to. Cheers Gary. DelusionL Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Gary im from port lincoln/Tumby bay and have a beach shack at Kellidie bay around the corner from coffins. its a beautiful place down there. but i woulda have thought the tasman or maybe the boston would of been a goer.. even the peir. id suggest its a sponsorship thing. how many of the local pubs are coopers b pubs as opposed to carton united or West end based pubs?? i just wish i knew about the coopers club when i was growing up over there.
