Luthien
Hello fellow Brewers, Does any one have a good malty beer recipe? I want to brew something like a Bitburger. Any ideas?
Borris
This might come out something like a "Bit". 1.7kg coopers original series lager 1.0kg Coopers LDME 15g Hersbrucker pellets, steeped Saflager W34/70 yeast. Not sure if Hersbrucker is the correct hop for this beer, but is my best guess. Pure malt recipe should keep the Rhineheitsgebot beer police happy. Also I'd try to make a 1L yeast starter a couple of days before brewing or else go for two packets of yeast. Good luck and may the force be with you.[kissing]
