Hi all, i just started bottling my 1st ever brew, and my tap blocked up with 8 litres left in the fermenter, any sugestions on unblocking it without stiring up the settlement, and also without infecting my brew. also gow long can i leave it in the fermenter[biggrin]

Try gently swirling the fermenter and maybe opening and closing the tap a few times. Sometimes the yeast trub gets in the tap, but normally right at the start, or when you get to the dregs. The infection risk at this stage is low if you can get into bottles quickly...
