Hopping Mad

Is there a cut off point after which you should not add hops to your brew?

 

I have made a Euro Lager toucan (with 1kg of LDM) and added 15gms of saaz pellets about 9-10 days into fermentation. Will be in the tub 3 weeks tomorrow (5.8.2010) SG is steady at the 1018 mark, around 14-16C, will be bottling when I get a chance!

 

I guess this is laaaate dry hopping? Am I mad? (for doing this, not generally!![rightful] )

Some people dry hop in the keg and some pass the beer through hops when pouring, like this mob.

So no it's not too late but adding then bottling soon after may not give you the aroma you are after.
