MattC9
Hey all, Thanks everyone for there advise and tips on brewing my first 2 brews ( euro lager and a UK bitter). I have just started tasting the lager and has worked really well as for the Bitter its almost ready to have a few-taste a little flat however they say this will improve over time. I am now going to brew a pilsner and was wondering what temp to ferment at? some say below 20c. As it is very cold here in Melb i thought I would get me a heat belt or heat pad which aparently heats to 24c, is fermenting between 20-24c going to be ok?? Cheers Matt
Kearnage
Matt, The recipe and brewing details are here: Pilsener Lager yeast, lager temps (below 18 degrees, preferably below 15). Treat it like the euro lager and it should be fine.
