brucem3
I am fairly new to the art of brewing. Need help on how to make a light lager, for my wife of course, . If i add only half the amount of sugar do i get half the alchol content and would it take only half as long to brew? Thank you, bruce.

Trusty1
sorry , i just found most of what i needed to know on site. thank you, bruce. G'day Bruce, I'd try 500gms of Light Dry Malt to start off with a nice easy, tasty enough brew. at these temps (an ale yeast in the original series lager) one week for fermentation then another week to settle will give you a nice clear beer. All malt should make it an easier beer to drink early too, if thats what you're after. Good luck.
