Fasttalker
I am about to do a Tooheys old style brew as my first attempt using Hops. The recipe also calls for Premium Ale cellar yeast. I have purchased everything for this brew however the guy at the brew shop told me to use both the cellar yeast and the yeast that came with the Can Kit (Morgans Australian Old)....... Is this correct or will it destroy the brew. Cheers
PB2
Hello "Mr Nobody" , that amount of yeast will be okay. You will be mixing strains but this should not be a problem. As an aside, I quite often pitch at the rate of 1g per litre with excellent results.

Luke
When I go to my old man's golf club (in country victoria), Toohey's Old is the only half decent thing there worth drinking! (The other choice is Carlton Cold)
