It was a coopers and he adds brown sugar and swears by it. He said he made one with dextrose but did not like it as it was to foamy when he poured it. That could of been to much carbonation in. This is what I did: Can of Coopers draught 1kg of liquid malt extract (ordinary stuff from the supermarket) 200g of Dextrose teaspoon sugar in bottles at bottling Had the mandatory 14 days fermenting in the bots while I eagerly waited the outcome!! Well, tossed a dozen in the fridge last night and cracked one this morning. Used a glass to see what it looked like (sediment, colour) Top twisted off with the expected shh Poured beautifully with a good creamy head Colour was slightly darker than say a normal beer.....slightly! Bubbles from the bottom all the way through Ahhhh, now the taste test......................... Hmmm, a little bitter on the first taste I thought.....It is early Sunday morning so expect any beer to have that taste at first Second taste....better Third taste...hey this is bloody good stuff!! Second bottle.......very pleased with my first attempt and can't see any need to change it Therd botel..no probs Forth bottl, bugger where did I leev me smokes Fif won, coodnt cair less wher me fags ar sex..oops nummer 6 Wack on sum muzic Sheven...I shood go inter poltics I cood fiks oorl th pwoblemms Ayth littel shtubby...ay luv, wens lunch??
