Naughty Corner Brewing
Not really my thing but these kids are from my daughters school, so played the close for their awards night this week. They have a couple of ok songs. The singer, Jayde, is just about to release some solo stuff as well. I think my daughter was doing lighting and overheated the light desk that night.

One of them is the son of a mate of mine, I think it's the guitarist. Small world!

Pezzza
New to this thread... love it tho... For me... this weekend's discovery is a Van Morrison song... Into the Mystic... far out... pure gold... just not come across it before... We were born before the wind Also younger than the sun Ere the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic Hark, now hear the sailors cry Smell the sea and feel the sky Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic And when that fog horn blows I will be coming home And when the fog horn blows I want to hear it I don't have to fear it And I want to rock your gypsy soul Just like way back in the days of old And magnificently we will flow into the mystic When that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home And when that fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it I don't have to fear it And I want to rock your gypsy soul Just like way back in the days of old And together we will flow into the mystic Come on girl... Too late to stop now...
Thirsty Jim
Off Moondance if I am not mistaken. The whole album is classic and one of the best LP's ever made but you'll always get an argument about whether or not it his best. There are many Astral Weeks fans out there. (But it is Moondance for me).

Thirsty Jim
Side 1 of Moondance is one of the finest sides of an LP ever made. It goes : And It Stoned Me/ Moondance/ Crazy Love / Caravan/ Into the Mystic. Side 2 isn't too shabby either. Do yourself a favour...

Have you ever come across this Brisbane Punk cracker @Aussiekraut... is in reference to Expo 88 in Brisbane that meant a whole heap of houses got demolished for the fancy Expo... which then became South Bank... anyway... it is a cracking example of the festive punkies in Brisbane from years ago ; ) Apologies all - language warning. All up it is pretty funny... Edited November 23, 2019 by Bearded Burbler

Beer Baron
I’m listening to rain!!! We finally have a bit of rain and I forgot how good it smells. Hopefully the farmers and fire areas get some of this awesome rain. I don’t live in the country but sometimes we all take something as simple as rain for granted. I’ll drink to that!!
